General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)
Postgraduate Courses
At least 60 % in Bachelors minimum of a second class honours (we recommend 65 %) or CGPA of 7.5 or higher (on a scale of 10). IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each module (or an equivalent TOEFL or PTE score )
University of Limerick, Ireland Scholarships
UL offers a range of scholarships for Indian students. Scholarships are upto 100% of the tuition fee. We encourage students to apply for UL scholarship as early as possible. Several of DCU scholarships for Indian students:
Faculty of Science and Engineering Scholarships (EU 2000): Available to full-time non-EU postgraduate students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering for the 2019/20 academic year. Eligible postgraduate students will be considered for a scholarship worth a €2,000 to €4,000 reduction in tuition fees.
UL and The Government of Ireland Scholarship (50%): The Government of Ireland and the College of Business and Law, University College Cork are delighted to offer one full scholarships for an Indian Student for a one year Masters by Research.
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships: The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships are open to students from outside the EU/EEA and provide an individual stipend of €10,000 and full fee waiver to 60 beneficiaries for one full year study on a Bachelor, Master or PhD programme.
Erasmus Mundus Scheme: An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD), is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. EMJMDs award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds. Study must take place in at least two of the programme countries. Part of the studies can also take place where there is a partner-country institution involved.An EMJMD is a study programme of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS. This means that it lasts from a minimum of 12 months, to a maximum of 24 months and is open for Master’s students.

While there is no official deadline for applications, courses at UL fill up very fast. Typically, applicants may wish to apply by October in the previous year to when they hope to begin their course at UL eg. if you are planning on a September 2020 start, you should apply by September 2019 preferably. UL’s Kemmy Business School recommends students to apply before September for the following year’s intake.
